Up and coming northeast Florida consulting firm seeks experienced finance
and compliance director.

EnvironMentors National Program Manager

EnvironMentors seeks a committed and enthusiastic individual to serve as Program Manager to support the program’s expansion as a national university-based college access program. Membership & Events Fellow
The Marijuana Policy Project (MPP), the nation’s largest marijuana policy reform organization, has an opening for a full-time, paid fellow to assist its Membership and Grants & Outreach departments. The fellowship pays $9 per hour and requires a minimum four-month commitment.
This position is a chance to play a crucial and responsible role in two different areas of a successful nonprofit organization. The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) is the political voice of the national environmental movement and works to turn environmental values into national priorities. We advocate for sound environmental policies and help elect pro-environmental candidates who will adopt and implement such policies.

The League of Conservation Voters seeks a Communications Associate to develop and implement a communications campaign on global warming in targeted states.

To address the urgent need for federal leadership on global warming, LCV is expanding its non-electoral activities to work in at least 16 states this year. This campaign will build on our efforts over the past two years to elevate global warming as a top-tier leadership issue.

The Communications Associate will work closely with the Global Warming Program Director, the Communications Director, and LCV’s state league partners to develop and implement media activities in our priority states.

Responsibilities:
• Develop strategic and creative earned media campaigns to elevate global warming and bolster federal leadership;
• Coordinate media activities on global warming across all priority states, including editorial board meetings, events, and report releases.
• Develop speaking and radio tours in targeted states;
• Write press releases, opeds, background material and blog posts;
• Manage and support content development on the campaign website; and
• Provide organizers with assistance on special media projects;

Qualifications:
The ideal applicant will have a college degree and at least 2-4 years experience in communications or campaign work. We are looking for creative and driven individuals. Candidates should possess exceptional communication skills, including strong writing skills; strong organizational skills with the ability to manage several tasks at once; and a demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Familiarity with the issue of global warming is preferred. This position involves significant travel.
