Membership Associate: Works with the Director of Grassroots Fundraising and Senior Development staff to manage the day to day operations that support low donor programs which include direct mail, online giving and advocacy, telemarketing, and canvassing programs. The Membership Associate also provides program support to the planned giving and workplace giving programs, as well as general development support, including prospect research.
The Membership Associate will:
• Respond to member inquires via phone, email and mail.

• Provide administrative and program support to the Sr. VP of Development as needed.

Requirements for this position:
1. Education: College degree required.
2. Work experience: One to two years fundraising experience working in a non-profit, political organization or campaign desirable; membership experience preferred.
3. Skills: Good written and oral communications skills, excellent skills in word processing and spreadsheets (Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel required, PowerPoint preferred), and phone systems; some database background. Attentive to details, and adept at maintaining systems for easy access to information and data.
