Medicaid cuts will have a devastating effect on American families; however women and children will be disproportionately impacted. Medicaid provides access to health care for 38 million children and women make up 69% of adult Medicaid recipients. This briefing will examine the overall impact that current House and Senate legislative proposals will have on women, children, and minorities.
