Location: Rayburn 2325
Description: Luncheon: AIAA Defining Commercial Space Forum
July 21, 2011
Noon-1:30pm
Rayburn 2325
As the final Space Shuttle mission comes to an end in Florida, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) invites you to a complimentary lunch with leaders from the aerospace community to discuss how commercial companies can work effectively with the government to ensure a continued U.S. leadership position in space technology and exploration. This 90-minute event, structured to allow an extensive question and answer session, will provide an opportunity for you to interact with some of the leading companies poised to provide space transportation services to the government in the post shuttle era as well as with the federal agencies that will enable this new paradigm.
A complimentary box lunch will be provided, and attendance is free and open to the public, but given planning and space considerations, advance registration is encouraged. For more information or to register, please contact Ross Bell via e-mail at rossb@aiaa.org, with the subject line “Defining Commercial Space Forum.” If there are specific questions you would like the panel to address, you may submit those via e-mail, or during the question-and-answer session.
Start Time: 12:00
