Description: Recently Sent to us: As is apparent now, the pressure of being deprived of getting ice cream prior to the weekend was the obvious catalyst that made congress and the president come to terms on a debt crisis agreement (see “our slogan” attached). In keeping with a NEW Washington tradition, I plan on keeping my promise and will be giving out Ben & Jerry’s and the new Magnum Bars to EVERYONE……INCLUDING those that worked on the debt crisis. Since we have now received authorization from the US Capitol Police, we will be situated on the east side of the capitol tomorrow (Thursday), August 4th, from 1:30 – 3:00 pm. You will know you arrived at the right place when you see the ice cream carts and a sign that looks like the one attached titled “Keeping a promise”.
