I would like to cordially invite the members of the People’s List and the Cloture Club (that’s us!) to a complimentary evening concert given by the Swedish National Youth Orchestra at the Music Center at the Strathmore on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 8:00 PM. The Foundation would like to offer young professionals a number of complimentary tickets.
The performances will be conducted by the world’s foremost interpreter of Arvo Pärt, maestro Tõnu Kaljuste, in symphonies by Sergey Rachmaninov and Arvo Pärt. Hugo Ticciati and Johan Bridger will perform a newly commissioned double concerto for violin and marimba by one of Sweden’s leading composers, Tobias Broström.
