To get into the competitive spirit of election day, what could be more appropriate than a Mrs. Obama/Mrs. Romney fashion challenge? Michelle and Anne are both pretty chic women. However, just like in the election, there can only be one true winner. Best of 3 wins.

#1: BLUE BATTLE

In her 2-piece suit, Anne shows us she truly understands the impact of fine fit. Not only is her frock basically custom-made for her, but it accentuates her waistline and gives her figure a lean boost. On the other hand, Michelle’s dress makes her look wide in the torso and hips. Adding a belt would have taken this ensemble a long way and allowed her to flaunt the toned body we know she has.

SCORE–> ANNE: +1, MICHELLE: 0

#2: PRINT PLAY

Michelle looks fab in this floral patterned piece, which gives her classic feminine appeal. Her simple belt, stud earrings, and bow pin are tasteful and just enough to add a little jazz to her look. Anne loses ground here by being over accessorized and over tousled in her hair style when paired back to the dress.

SCORE–> ANNE: 0, MICHELLE: +1

#3: PINK PUNCH

A true toss up is before us when comparing these two bright pink outfits. Though the color suits the skin tone of both women, the color appears more preppy and expensive on Michelle than on Anne. Yet another example proving the power of  a skilled tailor.

SCORE–> ANNE: 0, MICHELLE: +1

Though Michelle prevails in the end, we can’t blame Anne for trying. Especially given the rumor that Anna Wintour banned designers from giving Mrs. Romney designer garb. Happy Election Day to all, and remember to get out the vote!
