Summer might be slowly crawling to its inevitable demise, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t soak in the sun with your dog one last time before the leaves change, and let’s face it, with the changing of the season comes the leggings, the Ugg boots and Pumpkin Spice Latte’s, so it cant really be “all-that-bad” now can it? Fall makes us think of leaves that change colors, traffic, and Christmas decorations on shelves relentlessly early.
But Summer is not over!
There’s still time to taste some locally crafted nano-breweries in the heat. Don’t tuck the sun dresses into the back of the closet just yet. This Saturday, there’s a party tucked quietly just outside the beltway in Rockville Maryland, at Baying Hound Aleworks (a local nano-brewery that has been pampering it’s customers, both Dog and Human). Baying Hound has been canning craft and quality for 5 years. SO….. In honor of this half-decade’s achievement, they are looking to celebrate with your dog… and you (But in that order, it seems).
On Saturday, September 12th, Baying Hound is hosting an all day music festival, in honor of their five year anniversary at Branded 72.
Rockville Maryland is a really special place, and if you haven’t trekked out there, this would be the time. Branded 72’s not too from the Rockville metro station, and let’s face it, we here in DC walk a mile for good coffee. Would you walk a mile with your best friend, for good beer, food trucks and over 5 hours of cross-genre music, carefully selected to tickle every funny bone you and Fido have? We think you just might…
Bring your Dog, your sun dresses, and your appetite. There will be beer, there will be food trucks, there will be music, and there will be drunken dancing. The only question is, what’s “too-much” for an IPA’s alcohol percentage? Baying Hound was the first ‘brew‘ manufacturer and distributor in Montgomery County, and they’re proud to call Maryland home.
Got questions, do you need directions? Click here for the event page on the Baying Hound website.
Branded 72 is located at 387 East Gude Drive in Rockville, Md
The Festival is shaping up to be an all day event of Dogs, Beer, Food Trucks, Music, and Libations. What’s not to love.
