Dine-N-Dash 2016

Last night, the 14th Street and Penn Quarter restaurant scenes were put in bright lights, as Jose Andrés held his fourth annual Dine-N-Dash event, with one hundred percent of the proceeds benefitting his amazing international non-profit organization World Central Kitchen.

Thirty of the hottest restaurants in the District, including four food trucks, participated in the event, each serving an array of flavorful signature dishes and out of this world cocktails. Chefs at the restaurants were out mingling with the crowd as they put their heart and soul into the dishes being served, the musicians at locations were amazing and there was dancing in the streets as patrons “dashed” to their next restaurant location.

Put simply, it was the greatest DC dining and drinking experience of my life and the icing on the cake was every penny went to an organization that is doing such wonderful work to address smart solutions to hunger and poverty. Please visit World Central Kitchen’s website to learn more at www.worldcentralkitchen.org and thank you again to the organization,Jose Andrés, all the restaurants, chefs, staff and volunteers for a really exceptional evening!
