This month we’re proud to feature two amazing guests: Former Virginia Congressman Tom Perriello will discuss how we can “Occupy Capitol Hill” and Current TV’s “Countdown with Keith Olbermann” anchor/correspondent David Shuster (formerly of MSNBC) will discuss the progress of Occupy DC and the worldwide movement born on Wall Street on September 17 that has far surpassed the Tea Party in terms of national attention and possibly political action in the near future.

April’s First Friday will take place at Lounge 201 on Capitol Hill, at 201 Mass Ave. NE, across the street from the Heritage Foundation. The party starts at 5:30pm and runs until 9pm.

This Friday is April 1st, which means that it’s also April Fools’ Day. That said, what better way to celebrate the holiday than by toasting a cold one to the man who’s made making a fool out of liberal sacred cows a near art form? That’s right—this month’s special guest mingler will be none other than the modern-day muckraker whom Jon Stewart of The Daily Show once dubbed “the Ashton Kutcher of the conservative movement,” Mr. James O’Keefe.

As the man behind headline-blazing exposes of several of the nation’s most prominent liberal special interests and institutions, James’ work has led to the nationwide shutdown of the uber-corrupt ACORN outfit (w/Hannah Giles) and a historic vote by the U.S. House of Representatives to ban federal funding for NPR. So come grab a drink this Friday with James and let him tell you all about his undercover organization, Project Veritas.
